Spinach Fettucine Alfredo with Garlic Chicken Sausage

There are two tireless helpers in the Carelli kitchen who make cooking a pleasure - Maximus and Percy the best stand mixers a guy could ask for! Tonight Maximus got quite the workout rolling out 2lbs of homemade spinach fettuccine. This recipe is pretty great though I did have to add a tbsp of water for the dough to come together but other than that I followed the instructions. After I finished making my nests of pasta I started up some alfredo sauce - adding in some ground black pepper and making due with dried parsley. While the sauce simmered I through some chicken sausages into the trusty old cast iron skillet. Everything came together in the end - the noodles held the sauce very well and I think the leftovers will reheat well.
