Spoon Fudge!

While watching the Food Network a few months back I came across a strange desert recipe - spoon fudge.  Husband misheard the recipe as "spoot" and he has been asking me to make spoot ever since. Given this past weekend was his birthday I finally relented. 

Glad that I did! 

This homemade candy is delicious and surprisingly easy to accomplish. I did a successful first batch then I doubled the recipe for the second batch. If you're looking to try something new I highly recommend spoot....er... Spoon Fudge. 

After chilling your spoon fudge it should look a bit like this.
